| Emma 2 Posts | Statutory Interpretation ObservationHi Everyone! First of all let me just say what a lifeline Law-Exchange has been to me this year! I've been asked to start A Level Law from scratch on my own this year, and without all of your fantastic ideas it would have been a real struggle. I have a very scary observation by Senior Management coming up after half term and I’m feeling a bit lost. We are just about to start Statutory Interpretation and having stared at a blank lesson plan for a couple of days, I'm in need of some inspiration. Can anyone help? Many Thanks, Emma |

What about giving them a rule (but none of the case law) and getting them to apply it in groups to various scenarios - you can use real case scenarios and get them to present back. Then reveal what the judges did in each case and why - could lead into something on pros and cons of each rule. Don't forget to check their learning in a variety of ways if possible. |
